Author’s Note: so a lot of this is based on the fact that i’m from Texas, where most of my family is from really small, southern towns and people are overly friendly and have too much time on their hands. i’d also like to point out that the ranch mentioned here is real, though i think i’ve done such a shit job with this piece and it could’ve been a whole lot better. eh, feedback is welcome.
and to you, dear prompter, please forgive me for taking so long. i had this idea for so long now, and i dunno why i took me this long to execute it, but i truly hope this makes up for the wait. (and this probably isn’t what you wanted in the grand scheme of things, but i still hope it’s okay?)
